Dirt road climb with hardpack downhill

From the parking area start climbing on Schultz Pass Road heading North-easterly. This is a long climb with little interesting terrain to break up the monotony (if you can call hug pine stand monotonous). Just before the Schultz tank go right on a very well marked set of double track then immediately take another right onto the singletrack. Be careful, there is a gate crossing the path about 200 yards down the trail, make sure is stays closed. Ignore all of the turns and stay on the hardpack downhill trail. This area is super nice with turbo fast, bermed corners and numerous lips for big airtime. Follow the trail back to your vehicle. For the truly brave turn this trail backwards and peddle up Schultz Creek Trail to really Earn Your Turns!

How to get there:
From Flagstaff, go north on 180 then right on Schultz Pass Road. Park at the designated parking/camping area on the right side of the road.
