Beginner's step up! This is a great trail to improve your skills without dealing with lung burning climbs.

Trail Description:
Salmon Falls' rolling terrain makes for a fun ride, especially if you're not a big fan of long climbs. Don't be fooled by the first third of a mile. This is the hardest part of the whole ride. There aren't a lot of technical challenges, just fast rollercoaster singletrack. There are, however a few dangerous sections that make the ride unsuitable for novice riders. The ride is out and back, but there are a few alternate routes and spur trails worth exploring along the route as well. The trail is rideable all year long, but is generally pretty busy during the summer and weekends.

How to get there:
From Sacramento go East on I-50 to Eldorado Hills. Take the Eldorado Hills Blvd. Exit and go North. Stay on this road until you see the Salmon Falls sign. You can either park along the road before the bridge for free or parking one of the pay lots by the trail head.
