Trail Description:
Deception Pass State Park offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the state. Trails go from high rocky bluffs with amazing views of the San Juan Islands down to the sandy shores of the Puget Sound. There are several trails throughout the park, but one of the most spectacular trails starts from the parking lot on the far side of the bridge in the park.

How to get there:
From Everett, drive North on I-5. Exit at Mount Vernon and turn left into town. Follow the signs for hwy 536 to hwy 20. Follow hwy 20 west. After about 20 miles hwy 20 will split. Turn left onto the main part of hwy 20. Then look for signs for Deception Pass State Park. Park your car in the lot on the right immediately across the bridge.

Additional Notes:
These trails get very crowded with tourists except in the winter months. Plan accordingly.
