Trail Description:
This is a great mix of crushing climbs, screaming downhills, and technical singletrack. Has breathtaking views of Puget Sound. Trails have it all, rocks, mud, roots, etc. Great place to ride.
If you park at gate the trail you first notice is "Pigeon Ridge" from there you will run into a network of trails including "Baker View", "Windsucker", "Limbo", "Shoots", and you guessed it "Ladders". These are all good hill climbs which lead into some great downhills. Technical trails include "Woodpecker Heaven", "Hoky-Ka-DoDo", and "Braveheart" to name a few.
How to get there:
From Seattle go I-5 North to Mount Vernon. Take Highway 20 West toward Whidbey Island, follow signs and stay on 20 West. Remain on 20 West and this will eventually lead you through Oak Harbor and on towards Coupeville. Stay on 20 West until you see signs to "Fort Ebey State Park". Follow signs, park at gate.
