Trail Description:
Green Lakes State Park has a variety of trails that range from paved road, to wooded dirt trails, to mowed feild. Most trails are on maps which are posted around the park. Trails are marked for multi-use or hiking only (no bikes), and all use a color coded system to help you find your way. While most of the terrain is rolling, there are some steep sections. Careful on multi-use trails, as there are other bikers, as well as runners and hikers, not to mention wild life just to make things interesting.
How to get there:
From Interstate 481, exit at Rt. 5 East. Continue on Rt. 5 till the village of Fayetteville. In Fayetteville go to the top of the hill and turn left at North Manlius St. (rt.257) Stay on this road, at the 3 way intersection it turns into Green lakes Road (rt.290) From there is is about 1-2 miles up on the right. OR you can continue on Rt. 5 through Fayetteville, about 3 miles outside of the village you can enter the park.

During the summer, the park charges a fee for enterance by vehical.
