Trail Description:
This is a great urban trail located just north of the Baltimore city line. It contains everything from a long flat trail to some twisty single track that branches off from this main trail. Surface is mainly hard pack. There are rocky areas on the high ("pine barens") trails. A neat gulley area for jumping. There are some logs, some roots, some stream crossings. It can get muddy after a rain. This is a great place for a beginner to get in some various types of terrain. (I'm not sure of the elevation gain, but it's not much. The distance depends on how long you ride.)

How to get there:
From I83/Jones Falls Expressway, take Cold Spring Ln. East. Make left onto Falls Rd. (North). Follow to just past the light at Lake Ave. Make a right just after the convenient store, but before the bridge. Follow sign for Robert E. Lee Park. Park on road. Ride to the main section of the park, ride to the left on the circle, look for trail head on left, cross Light Rail tracks. Follow main trail back, look for off shoots of single track.

Additional Notes:
This is a big dog park! This can be good and bad dependion upon your opinion of dogs.
