Trail Description:
I am kind of new to mountain biking but all summer I have been riding on singletracks outsde of Charleston. My mom took me to Charles Fork Lake and we started out on the Lakeview Trail. It was great! One bad thing though, there were big, aggressive, hornet like bees every where and they buzz by you and chase you. We left the Lakeview Trail and rode down Point Pass which was very fun. We ended up at the bottom of a hill and we were lost. We found the Fireroad which we knew would take us back to where we started. It is probably the worst thing you could put a bike on. It was extremely steep with huge ruts. Finally we came to Jungle Pass, which was a pretty steep descent at one part, and we rejoined Lakeview. We rode about a 1/4 of a mile back to the dam where we started.

How to get there:
79 North from Charleston to the Clendenin exit. 119 north almost to Spencer. On 119 you'll see a sign that says Charles Fork Lake.
