Technical trail that follows a ridge line. Loop with Matthews Winters, Red Rocks

Trail Description:
Start at Matthews Winters trailhead, ride back out to the road (to the East), cross it and ride up the trail on the other side, heading South after you gain the ridge. After 0.5 miles, the technical stuff starts, with huge water bars (stacks of 3 to 5 in places), solid rock, one 15' slab section and tight corners. Total ridge length is just over 2.0 miles. Cross asphalt road at mile 2.0, ride on the other side of the concrete barriers to access the second part of the trail and loop with Matthews Winters. Or, you can bag it and take the road back to the trail head.

How to get there:
From Denver: I-70 West, Morrison exit, left at light. Park at Matthews-Winters (JeffCo Open Space Park) on right after 0.2 miles.
