D turns into trail F with a sharp right. F goes straight along the boundary of the park. After a gentle right hand turn F connects with G below power lines. When you come to Thrift Road, take a left and follow the trail past the pavilion. Take H along the lake taking a left on C and another left on I which will take you back to B. From here find your way back to A and the start or do another loop!

How to get there:
From Washington D.C. take route 5 South to Woodyard Road. Follow briefly and take a left on Brandywine and then a right onto Thrift Road. This will take you to the park entrance. From the entrance head towards the Clearwater Nature Center. This is where the ride starts.

Additional Notes:
There are several other trails to explore. Do the loop once then make up your own route. The park is not huge but there are many trails that crisscross offering various routes.
