Ride Summary:
A bunch of tails for intermediate riders on up.
Trail Description:
There are a ton of trails here to explore. Unfortunately because there are a ton of trails, it is easy to get lost so plan enough time to find your way back. Cedro Peak offers some of the best riding in the state. You will be treated to spectacular views, tight twisty singletrack, rocky technical trails and smooth ripping rides. Be warned though, Cedro Peak is over 6,000 feet up so air is thin and weather changes are rapid.
How to get there:
From Albuquerque head East on I-40 to the Tijeres Exit. Exit and stay to the right. Go past the ranger station and keep going until you see the signs for Cedro Campground. Follow the signs to the parking area.
Additional Notes:
Rapid and dramatic weather changes are common. Be prepared.
