Trail Description:
This is one of the lower elevation rides in the region and as such, it gets less snow and is rideable much earlier in the season.

From your car, head up the gravel road .5 miles to the Y. Keep left and keep climbing and staying on the main road at all intersections. At 2.2 miles, turn left, then left again at 3.0 miles. at 4.6 miles you will reach the singletrack on the right. This is where the fun begins. Rip down the hill keeping an eye out for some of the big drops that'll toss you if you're not careful. Cross the dirt road and stay on the singletrack. At 6.4 miles, take the singletrack to the left which will turn into doubletack. When you get to the big rock at 6.6 miles, keep left onto the rocky doubletrack and quickly onto the singletrack to the left 200 feet past the rock. At 7 miles, turn left onto another singletrack for a bit of climbing. Turn right at 7.5 miles down a short steep hill, cross the gully and climb up the singletrack past the old car. Go left past the car then right onto a doubletrack and right again onto the main fire road back to your car.

How to get there:
From Route 80, take Exit 7 just West of Reno. Go West on Silva Ranch Road for just under a mile where you will turn right onto Mogul Mountain Road. Then quickly turn left onto Mountain Ridge Road and park in the field.
