Trail Description:
One of the few mountain biking trails located in the Green Mountain National Forest. The trail is made up of mostly fire roads and hard packed dirt. A couple of technical sections keep it interesting. Some roots and rocks. This trail has a great view of Silver Lake and the surrounding of the Green Mountain National Forest.
How to get there:
From the town of Rutland go north on U.S. Hwy 7 to Brandon. When you reach the town take Vermont State Hwy 73 west for about 3.5 miles. Turn off on a dirt road that's just past the Churchill House Bed & Breakfast. Follow this dirt road to a small parking area near the trail.
