Trail Description:
Head approximately ½ a mile west of the entrance for the Tsali Recreational Area and turn left onto the US Forest Road 2630. After approximately 2 miles the road forks, stay to the left. The road will climb up along a ridge offering fantastic views of the Great Smoky Mountains. After a blazing descent and approximately 6.7 miles, the road will end. At this point turn around and head back.

How to get there:
From Bryson City head south on US 19 for 4 miles. At the fork continue on US-19/US-74 for five miles and then turn right onto State Highway 28. Go approximately 3 miles and park at the entrance for the Tsali Recreation Area (on the right). The trailhead is located on the left side of the road, approximately ½ a mile west of the Tsali Recreation Area.
