The great scenery on this ride includes a bird's eye view of the Hood River Valley, Wallalute Falls, and close up views of Mt. Hood and Eliot Glacier. Bikes aren't allowed on any other trails. This is part of the Mt. Hood Wilderness Area.
Ride up Road 3512 (the gravel road) for 8.7 miles, to the T junction.
Turn left, and ride to Tilly Jane Campground.
Go through the campground and cross the creek.
Ride past the amphitheater and past the two old buildings. Tail #643A begins near the A-frame building.
