Trail Description:
Harrison Bay is 4 1/2 miles of mostly singletrack. In the summer when the trail is dry, it is very fast. It is a good trail for beginners, but experienced riders like it too because you can really get some speed up. The trail is not difficult but it is twisty and has some blind curves. In the winter and spring it can be VERY wet and muddy. Watch out for fallen trees! The loop can be ridden in either direction.
How to get there:
From Chattanooga: Drive north on Highway 58 until you see the Harrison Bay State Park sign and turn onto Harrison Bay road. Follow the road to the park entrance.Turn left and go to the boatlanding area near the restaurant and go to the parking lot.
Look for the Bay Point Loop sign at the entrance. You are there!
Additional Notes:
Watch out for the occasional hiker and wildlife.
