Ride Summary:
A long ride with non technical terrain.
Trail Description:
Located in the Withlacoochee State Forest the Croom Section loop is almost all single track. It winds through trees and swamplands. The terrain is non technical enough that nearly any one can handle it. The ride length however, is another story. Novice riders can ride out a few miles and then turn back. pay attention to trail markers as there are several spur trails and it is easy to get lost in this area.
How to get there:
Follow I-75 to exit 61 which will deliver you to State Road 50. Head east on State Road 50 until you turn left at the first light on Croom Rital Road. Continue for 6 to 7 miles, it turns dirt, until you reach the forest ranger station. Park to the right of the station. The Swamp Club maintains this trail.
