How to get there:
In Lithia, take Lithia Pinecrest Rd. to Boyette Rd. Follow Boyette Rd. to Boyette Park.

You rate this trail as beginner, well it is not, it is intermediate at the least, yes there is easy trails but most has pretty dangerous drops with loose rocks and roots in the way. I wouldn't want a beginner to get hurt.

Another fun place to ride in Florida! trails well marked and easy to follow, lots of varied terrain, we got a great map from the swamp club(super friendly group and very helpfull!) We have ridden md. pa. va. w-va. co. ma. nh. and vt. Florida is flat so thats probably why this seems like a begginner park to out of state riders, great place to learn new skills but nothing too technical, even the expert trails are very ridable, just know how to deal with sand, and bring a map with you.

We love Boyette(OK, my wife loves Boyette). Can honestly say we have riden there for 15 years. You can ride Boyette all day and your front wheel doesn't leave the ground. If you want it to be more exciting, go faster!! This is old florida trail stuff here, boys !!

The single track is a lot of fun. from easy to hard it still provides an anticipation of whats around the bend. we went at dusk and i would have to say its a little freaky riding with alligators only a few feet from the trail.

Great trail system but I do not a gree with this being merely a beginners trail system. There are a few spots out there that challenge all but the seasoned riders. Anyway this trail system is constantly being expanded. Now we are looking at about 20 miles of single track, with more on the way. Stop by AJ's and get a map and then make a day out of it. All the trails are now marked with appropriate ratings and names. Please remember that some trails are one way only. Bring plenty of water, gels, munchies, as well are spare parts. It is 2 miles from parking to the main trail system. Trails not to miss are abyss (north and south) and pandemonium. My normal track is: SST, to lochness, upperlochness, randy's trail, spiderberm, spur, north abyss, pandemonium, south abyss, big drop, golf cart, gator pit, west meadow, baby nessie, inner lochness, palmetto cable, then take the double track back out, great ride it's about 17 miles. Enjoy!!

I love how this trail has some open field single track, some easy trail riding with the occasional thrill and then the abyss that will have you talking for days. A great place to ride something for everyone.

I got my bike for Father's Day, just a shade
over a month ago. Boyette was the first
single track I ever rode and I live here, so I
can not compare it to other places. All I
know is that I can get in 10-12 miles of
single and double track in a couple of hours
and go home close to exhausted, and
usually after suffering an accident or two
with esthetic damage (today it was a fall off
an embankment into a blackberry bush).
The intermediate trails on the berms tend to
be anything from mildly challenging to
moderately terrifying for a newbie like me.
Since this is Jurassic Park, the critters and
plants conspire to help make life interesting.
The best part though- in over a month, the
most cars that have been in the lot to ride an
area of almost 5,000 acres is three. You can
just about have the place to yourself. I love
it and Boyette is where I'm learning to ride.

Greg, take bell shoals south past fish hawk blvd. This becomes boyette, take it about 8-9 miles, there are a few turns but stay on same boyette. you will see a parking area on the left. it is a small entrance and in the middle of nowhere.
