Trail Description:
Lots of interconnecting trails. Several follow edge of lake. A couple lead to a part of
the lake that used to be a rock quarry--good for a swimming break. Lots of hilly,
winding singletrack.
How to get there:
Exit 19 b off of I-85 will put you onto hwy 76 towards Clemson. About 10/11miles
down 76 look for a Nat'l Guard Armory on the right. Just past the armory is a stoplight.
Take a left at that light (onto perimeter rd.). At the first stoplight on perimeter rd. take
another left onto Cherry rd. Take right onto Old Cherry rd. Take a left onto Camp Rd. Take a
right onto Seed Orchard Rd. There is parking at the start of this rd. Trails are on both sides of
rd. The best are about 100yds down the rd.
Additional Notes:
It would be best to get a map of Fant's Grove from one of the area bike shops.

Go to Fants Grove Trails. It's a PDF you can print all the maps you want for free.Lived here all my life, this is some of the hardest trails you will find in SC. There is a lot of history here too. Robert Anderson, Andrew Pickens, and before that, the Cherokees all lived there. Issaqueena trail has been miss rated. Ride the whole thing before you rate it next time. It's a weekend warrior trail minimum.

the horses use most all trails and sometimes make it difficult because of the horse tracks. they cause alot of ruts but other wise the trails are pretty well maintaned.

Sunshine Cycle in Clemson has a couple of cheap ($1.50) one page maps that are great for these trails and the Isaqueena trails as well.
