Trail Description:
Great Florida singletrack... some deep sand, some swamp, plenty of mud with a few pits to play in. Overall a great place to ride. You might run into some traffic during the weekend. There is a network of trails here, too much to detail all of them. Your best bet if you are new to the area is to find a local to show you the major routes.

How to get there:
I-275 to I-4 (in Tampa) go on to I-75. Drive until you get to the Fletcher Exit... go one moreand get off on that exit. Turn left onto Morris Bridge road and it is on the right about 1/4 mile down the road.

Really not a bad place to ride if you live in Tampa. I wouldn't travel to go there but it is a decent amount of fun for hardtail or full suspension biking. I would probably check out the maps that are available online to prevent getting lost... I definitely got lost but had fun getting back. It's a great starting point for people before they hit Croom and Alafia...

The other half and I rated this as a waste of time. Not even a mile into the ride, we turned around and left. We hopped onto I-75 and drove up to Croom. Croom is where we started riding, so maybe we are somewhat spoiled, I don't know. Morris bridge is a notch up from the Pinellas trail, a place where you would take your mother riding. Pretty woods but little strain on the body, so we were bored. Perhaps we didn't give it enough of a chance, but I was missing the exertion level that Croom offers.

A good all around place to ride. No major elevation changes, but hey it's Florida. Go near dusk and you are likely to see all sorts of wildlife...Owls, Hog, gators, fox, armadillo... only decent place to ride in Tampa.
