Trail Description:
Approximately .75 miles of flat trail takes you to the first single-track hill climb, which will get you get you warmed up in a hurry. From there the trail is a nice mix of rolling terrain with some nice, sudden descents and climbs. Very fun ride, not overly technical, and fast. The final downhill takes you down a steep and sandy slope that is used by skiers in the winter months.
How to get there:
Located at Hanson Hills Ski and Recreation Area, less than 5 minutes from Grayling (off M-72 West).
Additional Notes:
Go around the loop more than once. For the official mountain bike trail, stay on the trail marked wi

Alot more than .75 miles of trail!!!!! About 15 miles and always expanding. Not too technical, but some spots are a lil tricky. Flows pretty well and the crew there seems to take care of any problems that arise. Needs better trail maps, though I doubt anyone will get lost!

this trail is a lot of work. I took the shortest route and the climbs were long and the downhills short until the last hill which you can go down a really steep approx. 200ft hill with deep sand or you can take a steep singletrack down which was fun but short for all the climbing I did. I'm used to pontiac lake which is a lot more technical.

This is my new favorite trail in Michigan. As described, it can get and keep your attention without wearing you down. So much fun!
