Trail Description:
Sampson Trail is a sweet ride. The big highlight is a fun and fast 3 miles of single track down hill. Once you're going down, the long climb will be but a faint memory.

How to get there:
It is about 10 miles east of Potlatch Idaho. Park at White Pine campground.

Good trial. Rather steep climbs . . . lots of downed trees on the trail, probably to be cleared up soon (I rode the trail on 5/13/2002). Another trail in the area (#25, I beleive) is in much better shape right now, check it out. The trailhead for #25 and Sampson's is the same, the right handed trail is #25 (there is a sign).
