There are a lot of different places you can get on the trail. One of the best places is on River Road after Seven Locks Road (coming from DC) also you can get on at Cabin John Ice Skating, near the Montgomery Mall.

the B**** is great, moynihan loop's cool too. Be sure you dont confuse this one with the "hiker-biker" trail thats listed on all the maps, they are outdated and list this one as a hiking trail.

its certainly no fountain head, but this trail is definitely worth it. One word though, its hard to find if you start at cabin john park. Dont waste your time with the full hiker biker trail, instead, turn off, through the power lines, and then continue onto some awesome singletrack, its not very technical, but has some very fun sections, try THE B*TCH, at the beginning of the Moynihan Loop.
