Trail Description:
There is a selection of cross country ski trail loops, the most difficult being the green, which is 15km in length. You can add this with some of the other trails to make a good long ride. These trails are very old and very fast. It is very up and down so you will not notice the climbs and your asdrenaline gets fired up but you feel it after. Watch out for old tree stumps there is a couple areas where small trees were taken town to widen track and stumps are very easy to catch and at speed, you could do damge to yourself. If you take some of the crossing fire roads you can get miles and miles of skidoo and motocross tracks There are some pretty wild trails if you spend enough time looking for them. They can be hidden but are worth the effort.
How to get there:
Take Hwy 401 east to Cobourg exit (Hwy 45). Take that north past Baltimore look for Beagle Club Road on your left and follow that into the parking lot. Look for Northumberland ski trail sign.
Additional Notes:
Trails are free of charge!!!

yeah... the red trail is where it's at - ranked expert (for xc skiers). Burms and maybe 2% or 3% sand. The green and blue trails have more sand and less rolls. Not techincal per say, the red trail is fun but short at 4-5km.

The green trail is lots of fun. There are a few wasted out spots at the moment because of all the rain. The red trail is also fun, but pretty short.

This is a pretty solid ride the green trail backwards is the best way to do it. The other place listed above this one called northumberland is the same place as this one just so everyone knows.

The only worthwhile loop is the first section of the green trail, confusingly termed the "Green ABC section". This section has fast bermed downhills with good uphills. The second part of the green trail (termed Green AB section) is kind of flat but at least its singletrack. The final section termed the "Green A" section has potential but it kind of grown in and soft because of leaf and pine needle buildup which slows you down.
