A long long ride if you want to be hard core.

Trail Description:
Be sure to take lots of water with you. This is a long slog of a climb. The first six miles to the Cowley-Herd Summit and White's Beground are on a well maintained gravel and rock road. After that it turns into a gnarly jeep trail as you climb to Logan's Peak. As you climb it is easy to spot the major elevation changes. The surrounding foliage changes as you climb. You will ride through hardwood brush, aspen groves and sagebrush flats and old-growth stands of Englemann spruce. Riders who are tough enough to make it to the top will be rewarded with a spectacular view of northern Utah's Bear River Range and the Wellsville Mountains.

How to get there:
Park at the Lodge Campground off of Hwy. 89.

If you have a shuttle vehicle or are game for a huge loop, try descending via Spring Hollow. Get a map tho', or at least look at one before you go.
