Ride Summary:
A easy ride through picturesque country.

Trail Description:
The first three miles of the trail roll up and down a paved road. When you reach the forest edge the road turns to gravel. There is a Forest Service campground in High Creek, but no water is available. There are toilets at the Wilderness trailhead at the end of the ride. You can park at the trailhead or at the forest boundary, which is about 3.5 miles farther. Please remember that bicycles are not permitted inside the Wilderness boundary. While the ride is short and easy it is a beautiful summer or autumn afternoon ride. Once you enter the canyon you'll find tall conifers, hardwood brush and plenty of wildlife along the creek.

How to get there:
Start at county road at milepost 42 and US 91, about a mile north of Pepperidge Farm factory.
