Trail Description:
A very technically challenging trail.THis trail is maintained by the Bicycle Post out of Greenville and they are always adding something new or just making improvments. To many switchbacks to count,jumps(man-made and some natural),plenty of roots to keep you on your toes and some great hill-climbs.This trail has many"shortcuts" trails on it,but the main trail is generally marked.Bring plenty of water and maybe a snack.
How to get there:
take 43 out of Greenville towards Falkland and go about 6 to 7 miles and on the left there will be a sign for short Bridge road.Turn left there and go down the dirt road about 1 to 2 miles and there is a field on the left with a parking area and a huge Bicycle Post sign.
Additional Notes:
Suggest you stop by the Bicycle Post for a map how to get there.

the trail is open and has been for some time now.
there are lots of man made ramps to catch plenty of
air off of, and there is the "playground" now has a
triple teeter as well as some balance beams and
other types of teeters.

This trail is now closed due to construction. It was a really great trail, they held several collegiate "club" races there.

This trail was crazy! Allbeit my first time mtbing. I should have started off a little bit easier. I'm sure this would be awesome if you were a seasoned vet. It was a struggle in some parts, but a ton of fun. Lots of climbs, drops, technical riding, some fun stuff too...balance beams, jumps, teetertotter. The trail definitely kicked my ass, but it will be fun to try again.

This trail is continuing to get better. The Velo club is constantly adding new sections and obstacles. If you're in Eastern NC, it is one of the better rides.

Trail is not very technical, but at least has some slight
elevation which is surprising for this part of the state.
Lots of roots and tight turns btwn trees forces you to
pay attention. No big drops or scary descents, but you
can maintain a good steady pace for a decent workout.

A great trail for this part of the state. As of now there is a 5 mile loop that has 500 ft. total elevation gain almost all single track with some nice bowls and a handful of short steep climbs. There are at least 12 kickers. There is also a somewhat technical 1/2 mile out and back and 3 miles of flat beginner trails. The land is leased for riding so it costs 2 bucks a ride or you can get a membership for $10 students or $20. Get more info at Bicycle Post in Greenville and enjoy the ride.

Rode the trail today and it is more than what I thought for flat ground near the coast. I think it has alot of push from the BMX hard chargers. Theres a jump track by the entrance. What better trail ride than to be out there where the X-Games were created
