Trail Description:
Lots of trails. Beginner, Intermedieate, and expert. There are alot of country roads around also. Ask someone where each trail starts. There are a few creeks and some steep hills along with many mullies on the expert. There is a horse trail around the outside of some of the trails and a BMX track that is way up the road. There are some more trails there that i have heard of but not ridden.
How to get there:
Take I-40 into the triad and coming from the east go through winston salem and go until u get to the Tanglewood exit, make a left an follow the signs. From the west: go on I-40 and cross the yadkin river. Then take the Tanglewood exit and make a right and follow the signs
Additional Notes:
AWESOME you can spend all day there if you want to.

I'm a brand new, 40 yr old MTB. The horse trails are a perfect start to master your balance and gears. The park is beautiful and has many gravel and hard sufaces to ride on. After a few days you'll be ready for the bike trails. Some are more technical than others but all are possible for a new MTB if you use good sense. Enjoy!

I'm a beginner, sort of, im 17, i have been riding for a long time, i do 23"-24" laps, easily, which is a fast pace, and its alot of fun there. Its fun to jus go cool down like the day after a long ride ride or sometihng

I would ride the eastern loop for a nice quick 45" exercise after work. You can use any speed you want...race it or leisurely get a few miles in. It has enough short climbs to get your heart rate going and isn't as rooty as the western loop. A few decent-sized logs give the techies something to chew on.
