The single track @ theo has some great stuff, tight turns, a couple log jumps and off the single track some steep decsents. Just remember to ride fast, the usual crouds in the park can be roughf before dark. Oh yah, and all those men bathing in the lake in the woods just love to watch the bikers go past. No worrys Lake Calhon is close, there are always some hottys.

These are the trails that got me into MTB riding. Some of the wrenches at Varsity bikes near the east bank UM campus know these trails very well, and lead excellent rides out there. Bikes are not banned in the park, but a few paved trails do have "no bike" signs. Not an issue, except they are the only connection between some of the dirt loops. Some of the trails were built without permission, but the park quthority has been very open to the idea of people maintaining and improving the trail networks. The specific loop where the SS worlds was held is very difficult to "clean", especially after driking a 6 pack when you are riding in the dark! It honestly is much nicer on a geared bike, preferably with very sharp handling. After all, it was designed to be HARD for SS riders!
