I've always dreamed about following one of those trails, I've never been a good biker though. Driving a volkswagen would make me feel a lot more comfortable. Do you have any trails to share for that?

On behalf of the Trustees of Bawdeswell Heath may I ask you to discontinue advertising this site. It is a County Wildlife Site where effort are being made to regenerate the vanishing natural heath. Much of the voluntary efforts have been sspoiled by unauthorised cyclists, damaging fragile vegetation and digging jumps and obstacles. The site is open to the public for walking and many walkers have been deterred by some reckles cyclists. Your co-operation would be appreciated. My email address is billflynn@bawdeswell.fsnet.co.uk. Your comments would be welcomed. Thank you.

Not bad to use as a practise area to hone technical skills, some good jumps and rooty sections, however it is a very small area. Best to go mid week or early mornings to avoid the dog walkers. Been using it for years and never had any problems because the jumps and single track are all naturally occuring, however I have noticed recently that our small wheeled brothers are hacking up the trails and cutting down trees, Stop! Abuse it and we will lose it!
