Fox Run

Trail Description:
This trail runs along scenic navajo land. It can range from 1 mile to however many you want as there's lots to choose from. There are also endless dirtroads to choose from once you get to the top of the mesa.

One hilight is the slickrock. From the top of the mesa you will see the slickrock off in the distance.

If you still have enough energy you should hike the white house trail and canyon de chelly. You can see this as well from the mesa.

How to get there:
After coming to the town of Chinle from Ganado. You will immediatelly see the the Chinle Hospital sign and road. Go up the hospital road and take a right going alongside the hospital housing. Then after you pass all the streets and come to a stop sign take a right up the hill and over the cattle grate. Then immediatelly hang a left and you will see the trail. just park anywhere alongside the dirtroad

Apologies for confusion on this trail. Alot of construction as gone on at the Chinle Hospital and the original road has been detoured, however it still goes to the top of the mesa. Anyone who has confusion finding the top of the mesa can contact me at 520-471-2340 or email at jowsh_777@hotmail.com. once again sorry for any inconvience to those who could not find the trail. --Josh
