Trail Description:
This is a fun place to ride in the woods on rolling hills. The name "Camp Murphy" comes from the WW2 army base that became JDSP. The trail connects many old building slabs. Yes there is sand, it's Florida, BUT these guys have work hard to back fill the worst spots. It's totaly tight after rain. There are also palmetto palm root sections and some bridges. Overall a great place to learn to MtB and fun enough to keep the experienced coming back. The current length is 5 mile but will be expanding to 12+ miles over time. The park also has camping, canoeing, and hiking.

This is a great trail. Lots of sand but u can get
past it. I would definitely try out bunker hill. It's a
great way to end ur ride - great jumps, drops,
climbs, stairs, and climbs. It's only about 20 ft but
still - There is also a great warmup section. and
the full length is 12 miles

Great trail. Lots of fun. Sand was no problem even for my girl who basically just started. Roots are awesome and very hard to get through without falling, but I did it! I've been going back numerous times since the first time. Def. worth trying
