I live in St. Cloud and I have been biking at the quarrys for 2 years. if it is your first time at the quarries i doubt you will have much fun becuuse the sweetest trails are hard to find and out of the way. if you stay on the "technical" trails that are marked on the map you are wasting your time becuase there are about 2 and they are lame. i reccomend you find someone who knows the trails and knows where the flow technicals are if you want to have fun. there are technicals of all size in the park, from 1 foot to 10 foot drops, singletrack, rocky descents, climbs that sill kill your legs, an observation deck descent that resembles a mini downhill course, and the trails are ever expanding. i urge everyone to go to the quarries with someone who knows the trails, or spend time exploring and looking of into the woods for the sweet stuff. if you go by the park map you will have a lame time. guaranteed.

I went out to this trail. It was a waste of my day. On the way back I stoped in Elk River that trail is more like what I want. The trails at the quarry that were ok just to short. I more like tech stuff.

The technical sections get real intense real fast. I did irrepairable damage to my frame on the extremely hard granite. My only complaint is that aside from the tech sections (which are few and short) the remaining trails are too grassy and wide.

Great place to test that full suspention you bought at Target, no realy, the outcroppings provide a great place to open it up! dont forget to go swimming and cliff diving.

Trails range in difficulty from the easiest to the hardest you've ever seen. It's a lot of fun and the swimming is good if you don't mind cold water!
