Trail Description:
Blacktop contains two main trails, jumps and the odd bit of XC just down the road at Countesswells.

The first DH track descends down a steep, technical slope, cutting into a berm and finishing of with a (optional) huge 12 foot gap jumping across a walking track.

For the top track,a steep, rocky descent with two drop offs and a muddy surface combine to create one of the best tracks in the Aberdeen Area.

How to get there:
In Aberdeen, get on North Deeside Raod. Go through Cults and to the Bieldside Inn. Turn right up past St. Devenick Church at the traffic lights. Keep following Baillieswells Road for about 2 miles until you get to a T junction. Take a left turn and follow this road for about 1.5 miles past a group of houses scattered around the fields. As soon as you pass any forest next to the road, look on the right until you see the Rottencairn car park. Turn in and follow Horse Trail Signs to top of hill.

Additional Notes:
This track is used by both horse riders and bike riders, so respest all other walkers etc.
