Trail Description:
Fun spot if you like mud and easy rolling. Some roots and nice smooth, tight switchbacks in the woods. A couple of stream crossings.
The best muddy stuff is on the north east side near the soccer fields. look out for the briars they are nasty.
How to get there:
just south of Newtown Pa. numerous places to enter.

These trails are excellent. Been living less then a couple miles from this park and never realized it was so good. There are nearly countless trails that wind in every direction plus a large amount of muddy areas, stream crossings, and jumps.

lots of bridges, log jams, criss crossing singletrack. whoever has been working on these trails has done a great job, I commend them!

Brad, trail heads are all over the place. You can enter from behind the Maple Point school, or from the Duchess Lane parking area. There are no trail heads in the area of the paved path and boat rentals. Go to the other side!

Good fun and well maintained. Muddy after a rain. Saw some guys working the trails a few weeks ago. Looks like they have been doing this for a while. Try it out!

Good if you live close by and need a quick fix - great training for beginners or start of season. Not hill"y" - good single track.

Dirt trails are good for the beginner and moderate biker. New riders can dismount and carry the bike over some large logs. Some obstacles are still a challenge, and some short quick climbs may appear quickly after riding through some swampy areas. I can spend 1.5 to 2 hours in the park. Youy may see some deer, fox, coons, owls and red tail hawks.
