Hey, has anyone been here in the last 3 or 4 years, does it still exist and are the trails maintained?

Just went on it today...I went on it 2x, and loved it. The first time I took the exit to the entrance and made a circle probably twice in this area because i just went right, right right....Then I checked the map, and omfg it was just awesome. There were a few hills, marked trees to look for and arrows. If you see a tree thats made into a giant x you're going the right way. Just check out the map first.

You (or atleast I) run into very few people out there on the weekends. I was fortunate though when I broke my arm out there I had just past people and they were there to help me. Use the buddy system.

This is the Little Big Econ State Park which is rated elsewhere. Snowhill is the name of the road which provides two access points, one named for the Flagler Trail which borders the Little Big Econ, and the actual trailhead associated with the Little Big Econ State Park further up Snowhill. These comments just to keep the confusion to a minimum.

If tired or waiting for your bubby because he’s to slow I recommend for you to stay where high elevation is. One day across the river on the sand I saw an alligator about 12 feet in length and 6 feet in width. But it made the riding experience better.

This is a great trail considering the real quality trails are 1.5 to 2 hours outside of Orlando. I have bee riding there for about a month and follow an 8.5 mile loop that is both technical and fast. As others have stated the sugarsand can be tough, I usually use a big gear and treat the sugarsand like a climb ( good heart rate pumper). Tyler: weekends are usually fairly busy with an average of 10 to 20 riders departing from the parking lot in small groups of 3 to 6 riders. I will be there this sunday at 7:00 am. feel free to shot me an email if you want join us. captainericperez@yahoo.com.

I have done a lot of riding down south mainly at Markham Park and Oleta Park in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami respectively. I've never been to Snowhill but live pretty close by and was wondering how many people are there on weekends because I would probably be riding by myself and don't want to get too lost. If someone could tell me the average # of riders on the weekends I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Kyle.

First outdoor ride was here last weekend. I was a tv addict who laughed at the "extreme energy drink drinkers" who ride bikes in the woods. However... I tagged along for a ride and I absolutely loved it! It's got me looking at sites like this, looking for more opportunities to ride a bike somewhere. Thanks Snowhill for a new favorite activity!
