This ride consists of a mix of singetrack and dirt roads. The trails feature steep climbs and fast descents in both directions. The trails are only moderately technical with loose rocks the biggest challenge.

How to get there:
Turn off of highway 9 onto Choccolocco Road (55) then take Bain Gap Road where you will turn to the right to park vehicles.

There is no distinct trailhead where you park but you will find the trail pretty easily.

The trail is open to bikers. The trail has been pretty clear for some time now. I rode it just a couple weeks ago. This one is worth trying.

This morning I rode Marks Loop with one of the original builders of IronLegs and he stated that the trail is now closed due to Ft. McClellan cleanup stuff. No Maintenance in some time.

this used to be my fav, but last time i rode it, it looked neglected and really eroded. still a challenge, even more so now that the rock-garden has grown.

This is a very good trail for those just getting into this kind of thing, (like me) but is also technical in some spots.. Many variations of trail like rocky, sandy, dirt, mud, the pine straw bites on some of the hills, but only because it hasn't been ridden much. One cool thing is the old plane's nose that you ride through on the last leg of the trail. The only bad thing is the actual trailhead is hard to find. Look for a baby grave and you know your close.. Keep driving down that road and you'll see lots of old house frames and sheds and stuff like that.. Then look for tire tracks through the tall grass on the right side of the road. The rest of the trail is pretty well marked. "West Side"
