Trail Description:
Varying climate zones on the eastern flank of the Badger Creek Wilderness Area.Outstanding 5 mile descent followed by a nice 5 mile climb.Late summer dust.Ride the trail counter clockwise and look out for hippies.
How to get there:
Hwy.35 to FR.44 to FR.4420.Stay on paved road leading to Fifteen Mile Forest Camp.

i would switch the direction and go clockwise - smooth descent and the trip back up will have a mix of steep hiking and more level riding so it is easier to make it back up (for me) if it want for the steepness, i would give it the highest rating - you will get wiped out unless you are really fit

Climbing up 2nd half feels like twice the distance. Definately bring lots of water. Cool off in the river at the top and the bottom of the ride. Too bad the ride doesn't start going up and end coming down.

the 4miles down is awsomewatch a guy spill hard watch for clifs on corners to skillfull creak crossing then killer six miles up hill cool veiw!

The first (4) miles were awesome, heading down the hill and crossing the creek, then great great views looking towards eastern Oregon. The last (5) miles pretty much straight up. Hot & dusty. Bring lots of water. Definitely for the intermediate to advanced rider. Jump in the creek to cool off at the end of the ride.
