Seriously wicked trail system for sure. Twister is not to be missed and going down Rainbow all behind the saddle is too much fun for words. You can jump, soar, Screamer, flow, cruise, barge, haul or whatever else you like there.

Haw Ridge offers something for everyone. As TJ mentioned, don't ride when wet. Aerobic, techinical, to just fun is Haw Ridge. Great Trail maintenance and fun stuff. Lots o' roots though, so deal with it.

I rode Haw Ridge all the time with my buddy Mitch about 15 years ago when I lived in Oak Ridge. Be on the lookout for a tree with "RC" spray painted on it. I hope it is still there because it marks where the "Roller Coaster" hill is. I still remember every aspect of the trails of yesteryear and I hope they are the same as when we tore them up.

Haw Ridge is awesome. There is a good mix of trails. There are some pretty good hills to go up but it just makes it that much better to go down the nice downhill after it. There are some fast trails and also some more technical trails that are pretty good. I highly reccomend it.

As i looked at the steady incline of Haw Ridge for the first time i thought i was done for, thinking that the rest of the trail was like this, i was wrong, that is one of the best mountain bike trails i have ever been on. With steep down hills such as the screamer, which is a 75 degree incline straight down the side of a mountain, or for people that just want a steady ride there is a little bit of that, but i say, if you want a steady ride, go to a dam road!!! Haws ridge kicks Ass!!!!

Haw ridge is awesome, but the only fee for riding is going over the ridge on the way in, but from then on its great. pick up a map at front entrance, the trails are marked on the trees and on the map, this helps navigate. Try trails you that aren't marked, they all come back in to eachother. One more thing, don't ride when it has rained in the past couple of days, it tears up the trail and is muddy as hell. Ride the ridge.
