Trail Description:
Starting out is rolling hills of single track. Then starts a 2 mile climb to the top. Then you cross a gas pipeline. then start to ride ATV trails and its all downhill from there. Very rocky and technical. Lots of fun.

How to get there:
elizabethon exit off 181. Then just follow the signs for Buffalo mountain

This trail is heavily used by motorcycles and atvs and for that reason, I really don't recommend it for bikes. For that reason, I would only recommend that adults bike this trail and be careful.

There are unmarked trails (singletrack)on both sides of the road, and off the fire road. The trail ends at Deacon's Creek approx 14 mi.-28 if you out and back, 23 or so if you ride back on the road.

I wouldn't necessarily rank this as an advanced trail. I would call it an intermediate difficulty trail. One long gradual climb and a fairly sketchy descent, but newbies need not shy away.
