How to get there:
I-10 east to the dragoon exit, go aprox 11 miles untill dragoon road ends, then make a right (its the only road) i thinks its called 90. then go aprox 10 miles to the town of pearce (aka sunsites). make a right on stronghold road go all the way down till you enter the park.

Additional Notes:
Watch out 4 rattlesnakes. Bring a lunch and lots of water.

Just a couple corrections to the directions. First, this is a forest service road and is paved from town to about 1/2 way or so to the campground at Cochise Stronghold. There is another Stronghold trail that is a jeep trail that goes from the town of Dragoon to the Stronghold via up and over the mountain (much more fun). The highway at the end of Dragoon Rd. is AZ191 not 90, and the turn off of 191 is at Ironwood Rd. (well signed) and turns into Stronghold Rd. at the Forest boundary. No biggie, just wanted to clarify as this is a fun ride for beginners.
