Trail Description:
The trail starts out by an old civil war site. As
you get farther in to the trail, you will experiance
major difficulty climbing huge jumps!! The trail goes even deeper into the woods and then runs parralell to a Brook.(The heart of the trail is made up of a series of jumps, this is how it earned its name "DIRT BIKE POINT"
How to get there:
From Opellousas, take I49 south towards sunset. When you get to exit 8, take that and take a right.Keep Straight untill you hit the stop sign.Take a right at the stop sign.Keep straight untill you get to a small country store called "Roweenas". Take a left and keep
straight untill you see the first left turn. Take the first left turn and keep straight untill you see the bridge. The trails should be right before you get to the bridge.

I found it. The store is now called Eddie B's. It is near the first curve in HWY 182 leaving Sunset towards Opelousas. After turning at that store, take the first left (in another curve) and keep left at the fork. The trail is on the left just before the bridge. However, it is marked by private property sign. It looks like a 4-wheeler trial and i'm not sure how long it is...because of the sign, i didnt ride it. Gave it a 3 just to post this comment.
