Trail Description:
This is a state conservation area open to hunters and trappers. It's also open to bikers. Certain trails forbid motorized vehicles (thank god) but most have been blazed by four-wheelers. Most of the trailheads are on both sides of J.B. Little RD. One leads around Crane Pond, another to power lines and another to the old West Newbury dump.

How to get there:
Take exit 54B of I-95. Head towards Georgetown Square. In the square, make a right onto North St. Make a quick left across from the elementary school onto Pond St. Keep on this roaf for about 2-3 miles until you get to four corners (five way intersection) Once there, make a slight right onto J.B. Little Rd. (it is very poorly paved). Here you will find several different trailheads.

Just an FYI, J.B. Little Road is now closed to traffic. They don't enforce it, if you have a truck and feel like driving around. If you don't, however, take a 160 degree right at the "five corners" described previously, onto Thurlow St. About 1/10th of a Mile down, on the left, will be a small parking area for hunters with a gate blocking the trail in off-hunting-seasons. Park there and pedal the 1/10th mile to 5 corners, and you don't have to worry about the cops and your car/truck. Dirt bikes and 4-wheelers come through these trails too fast to stop for you if they so chose, so pull off the trail when you hear a motor approaching. Aside from this, it's a fun mud-style M.B. trail. Enjoy, Dan (local, very familiar with the trails)
