Listen if you can't make the ascet or handle the descent then its not the trail not being "fun" its just your in experience. This place has a lot of good trail for all types. Its like one stop shopping. Go to stokes national park near augusta new jersey if you're in the area. also visit waywaynda. You know you're good and fit when you enjoy going down the trail as much as you enjoy going up the trail.

i rated this 4 only because i assume there's got to be better and i have only been once in northern california and once in san diego. but i've been here about 15 times and i think it's surprisingly good for NJ mountain biking. it's a good workout and the descents are fun. here's a fun course that my friend leads me through: http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/invitation/ email/accept.mb? senderPk.pkValue=164149&unitSystemPkValue=2& episodePk.pkValue=4136429

If you're willing to wind your way up, the descent should be worth it. The trails are insanely rocky and rooty, making for a challenging descent when you love to blaze. Make sure you've got strong wrists and forearms because you'll need it if you really want to have a good time.

Nice if your'e just starting out mountain biking or just need more base miles of dirt.. I rebuilt most of these trails here with couple of my friends, and its never gets too boring.. www.jorba.org keep riding

A good little area to ride in Northern NJ. Nice ups and downs. There are sections of tight twisty singletrack. Sections with roots and rocks. Save the yellow section for riding fast downhill...lots of roots, rocks and turns makes the ride fun. Lewis Morris has sections that will get your heart pumping. I would rate it as moderate with a few moderately difficult sections. Basically a lot of fun. On weekends, go early before lunch in order to avoid hikers, joggers and dog walkers....if not be carefull and courteous so we don't lose this great little spot.

Beautiful woods w/ Revolutionary War Historical sites. Trails are very well marked but offer few opportunities for expert riders. I can use directions to techs
