Trail Description:
The trail is a nice single track but not many bikers use the trail. It follows the Nooksack river upstream. The climbing is not steep at all. Just long and gradual.

How to get there:
Head North out of Sedro Woolley on hwy 9 for 12.7 miles and turn right on Saxon Rd. Follow Saxon rd to dirt road and follow dirt road to the end: 1.5 miles. Park at the yellow gate on the left and ride the road in. Take a left at the fork and follow up the hill all the way to the forest and there is the trail.

Logging has turned this into a hot, dry 5-mile slog until you find the "trail". It is just an abondoned section of road that is reverting to a trail. Really overgrown this past spring. Lots of nettles and other junk. Not really worth the trip. Anything around Bellingham or Anacortes is better (Whistle Lake, Heart Lake, Cranberry Lake, Galbraith, Padden, Blanchard).
