I rode this trail in summer 2008... too soft to ride in areas and over grown in others...and many spiders in the mouth obviously does not see much use. trail hard to find in logged areas. MUCH better place if youre in the area for beach vacation is to go to the trails back behind the Frank Brown Softball complex. Google for directions. I will be riding out there this week on the SC Blur. Open and firmer ground. Park at back of park near maint. shed and look for trail kiosk. take paved 0.3 mile trail as access to powerlines and then go right and explore! Ive ridden Florida's Santos and Alafia, etc...nothing like that here but a good hours ride of trails... you can pick them out on Google earth...happy trails!

The singletrack is in good shape, but the palm tree undergrowth clogs the sides of the trail and can cause many spills. Overall, the trail is ok. Do not go early in the morning, b/c the huge spider webs clog the trails and await a smiling face to stretch across. And I encountered a good sized boar on my ride so go packin with a big knife or be prepared to outride the little bastard. Happy trails
