Once past Bethpage however, the only trails available are dirt with increasing difficulty.

How to get there:
The best actual way to the Green Belt Trail is by taking a personal vehicle to the park (Bethpage), where the trail can be taken North or South where it can lead to the Cedar Creek Bike Trail which parallels the Wantagh Parkway all the way to Jones Beach.

Additional Notes:
Nice riding. A stop along the way where refreshments are offered. You can take this one easy, or you

Something for everyone. The more exciting parts of this trail are north of Hempstead Tpke. Don't go into Bethpage and pay to park there is a nice easy way around that. Take the Seaford/Oyster Bay Expressway to exit 8. Which will be the Bethpage Exit. (from the North) Make a Right. (From The South) Exit is under the bridge and you will make a right. Go back over the bridge and continue straight. Before you hit town you will see the Bethpage Public Library. Drive and park at the back of the lot. I have never heard of anyone getting towed. Get ready and go back the way you came. (that means make a left) from there go back over the bridge and WATCH OUT FOR THE MORONS DRIVERS EXITING AND ENTERING THE EXPRESSWAY. sorry. Continue on that road for 150ft or so and you will see the entrence to Bethpage State Park, Polo Grounds. Enter there. You will come across a paved path. 2 options now. you can head south(make a right) or you can continue North (make a left) Either way there are paved tra
