This trail is super-long, riding up the Fox all the way past Dundee. The coolest spot to start is on the South Elgin town bridge. Take that south and ride through some nice country and it eventually connects to Great Western Trail if you veer off the Fox. Between S. Elgin and Saint Charles, you'll find some off the beaten path weaker singletrack (at least last year)...an old school hardtail can handle this nicely. Scenery-wise, the best river views are West Dundee and north...pretty!

You will not find any unpaved trails here. It's a nice ride but the whole thing is staight and paved from Aurora to Elgin with lots of families/kids on the trail.
