Trail Description:
A nice bit of single track. The only off-road trail in the park which does not specifically prohibbit bicycle riders. Also a great chance of seeing some wildlife...I have seen foxes out there!
How to get there:
I-64 to I-264 E. take until it ends. Turn left on Atlantic. At 64th street, turn left. You can park on the hill right there for free and take the ease 3 1/2 mile ride to the nature center. Once the bike path ends, make a right, then a left as soon as you can. Cross 2 parking lots. You will see a sign for Indian Grave. Stop and pay your respects, then continue past the sign. The trail begins right there and dog-legs off to the right.
Additional Notes:
Be careful of sand-pits and poison ivy!

its a fun trail that has a few couple spots where you can choose a different legal path for a lil more adventure. couple sand spots that will bring you to a dead stop if you arent careful. if you start from 64th street and go left its some what adventuresome but dont expect alot.

Cape henry trail is the only legal bicycle trail in First landing park, any other trail is illegal. all bikes must stay on the cape henry trail. trespassers will be ticketed.

This is not an actual trail as designated by the park. Also, it is over-run with foliage. To bad too, it could have been fun. If you do go out there, the sand traps are horrible.
