Trail Description:
This trail follows fifteen miles of the most beautiful pinon-juniper forest on the district. Along this trail you may encounter evidence of past occupation by indigenous peoples. DO NOT REMOVE ANY OBJECTS. Follow the trail markings for Ghost of Coyote #641.

How to get there:
From the Flagstaff area, head East on I-40 93 miles to Holbrook. Head South on Hwy 77 to Show Low. From the Phoenix/Tempe area, go East to Hwy 60 and follow North to Show Low. From Show Low Post Office drive west on Hwy 260 8.1 miles. Turn right on Burton Road. Drive 1.1 miles north. Trailhead is on left just past a cattleguard.

BEWARE! THIS TRAIL IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO FLAGSTAFF! However, this trail can be taken next time you are in Show Low, AZ. This trail has some few climbs and very few technical sections and even fewer miles of single track (mostly two-track). It's much closer to 13 miles. You need to correct your location. Ghost of the Coyote is just ourside of Show Low, not Flagstaff
