this is truly a great ride. very technical root and rock obstacles but not so bad that beginners cant ride there. ride the Lost to Mary Davis out to the base of the long climb and back for a great intermediate ride. or do the climb and make it a loop with a couple tough downhill sections. loop is a little over 7 miles. out and back is probably around 10.

this is an excellent trail that is good for plenty of trail riding. rode the lost trail - mary davis trail loop this past weekend. had an awesome time, took us a while to make the loop, and we were spent when it was all over. awesome technical section at the beginning. lots of wet, leaf covered roots made it a b!tch

This is an amazing trail. As for the WVU guy, I've gotta say that it was sweet when S. Florida rolled over the Brokeback Mountaineers Friday night. Kiss your national title hopes goodbye. Now, as for the trail, ride it...it's awesome.

Fun for a while--until we got lost. Started at the (Lost Trail?) trailhead just off the campgrounds and finished off on the Mary Davis. Got turned around at the top of the hill and ended up on private property. Thought the trail markings at this "intersection" were terribly inadequate. Any tips?

rode trail many times, never the same ride. very scenic and can be difficult depending on weather. rocky and rooty but better than flat and boring.

I rode this trail yesterday, it was muddy but was still enjoyable. I guess I'm considered a weekend warrior even though I go every chance I get. The first hill is a killer hill but from there the trail really evens out and provides the rider with challenging up and downs and a nice downhill section. All in all I think the trail is great. I'll be there again tomorrow.

Only rode this trail a few times, but when i did i had a blast. My first time riding was on these trails. The long climb was super rough but after u got up there you felt so proud. Good trails.
